The Advisor Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $16.90 hourly.  The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance.  The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the service process from start to finish, serving as the primary point of contact for our customers. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of automotive services, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and assist them in determining their service needs and addressing any concerns.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar to optimize workflow.
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate services or repairs based on the vehicle’s condition and maintenance history.
- Provide accurate estimates for services needed and communicate the benefits of recommended services to customers.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and follow-up activities in the dealership management system.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs or concerns.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure resolution to maintain customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Stay informed about product knowledge, service offerings, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant automotive certifications preferred.
- Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and repairs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced work environment effectively.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with dealership management systems and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
